Whew, it’s been an exhausting week!
I’ve had lots of things to talk about, but I left my MacBook in Wausau on Mother’s day, and I’ve been so lost without it! Thankfully, my sister’s friend is coming to town tonight and will be bringing it for me. I could have blogged from my iPad or phone; in fact, nearly all my photos are there anyway, but it feels so wrong. I’m using Matt’s MacBook right now since I couldn’t wait any longer! It’s not the same, but it’ll do.
(side note: isn’t it interesting how we get attached to “our” technology? Matt’s computer is nearly identical to mine, save for the files that are on it- all of which are irrelevant to writing a blog post – and yet, I want to have my *own* computer before I write anything. Hmmm, maybe it’s just me)

I’m finally (mostly) over with my epic sickness… I’ll spare you the details, but what started out as pertussis turned out to be an incredible sinus infection which turned into bronchitis and pneumonia… yeah.
In other exciting news, our four year wedding anniversary is next month, and we have literally NEVER done anything for our anniversary. Not even a date. I know- it’s pathetic, so this year we’re actually taking a trip! I think we’re going to go camping on Lake Superior- I used to go there as a kid, and Matt has never been. It’s a really awesome place. I’m so excited to plan it out!
