Fixed: Free Knit-Stitch Photoshop Brushes!

Friday, December 16th, 2011

I uploaded these knit stitch Photoshop brushes back in October, but I’ve since learned that the original file didn’t include all of the brushes. Oops! I re-packaged them for you, so you should be good to go! Merry Christmas!

Download! (.zip 359 KB)

To create a canvas of lovely stockinette (that never curls!) simply do the following:

1. With either the single or the row of stitches, position your cursor at the upper left side of your canvas (or at desired start point).
2. While holding the shift key down, click and drag your cursor to the bottom of your canvas (or to desired stop point)
3. Repeat along the entire length of your imagined sweater-canvas.

For gorgeous fair-isle or stranded colorwork, simply use the “filled” knit brush in the color of your choice to go over individual stitches:

**Edited 12/15** Apparently, the original download didn’t include all of the brushes. It should be fixed now! Let me know if you’re still having trouble!!**

Sweater weather is here, and that means dreams of knitting designs start dancing around my head. Since I can’t knit as much as I used to because of my bum arm, I can at least knit with Photoshop!

For your virtual-knitting pleasure, I created some simple knit-stitch Adobe Photoshop brushes!

(Feel free to download this image and use it in your fall-and-winter projects. I’m imagining cute gift tags and Christmas cards…)

Guess what-  I LOVE comments! Let me know if you download them, and especially if you use them on your blog. I’d love to link to you!
