For more than a decade I have been a borderline-obsessive Ben Folds fan, not something I can say about many things. One of my favorite albums since high school is Whatever and Ever Amen. Using gypsy girl tattoos as inspiration, I drew this based on the song Kate.

I’m still trying to find my style as an artist, but I’m pretty pleased with it.

If you’re a Ben Folds Five fan,  check out their new album: The Sound of the Life of the Mind. It’s awesome!

Anchors Away

I found Alisa Burke’s awesome blog by way of CraftGawker. I’m drooling over her watercolor paintings and doodles… but what really caught my eye was this fantastic anchor wall art that she made for her daughter’s nursery.

Click here to see her post.

If you know me, you know that I love tattoo-style artwork, and this definitely fits the bill. I’m going to be making myself something similar very soon!
