Just enjoying the first weekend of fall doing some housework (okay not so enjoyable) and baking cookies. Cookies make everything better.
The weather is absolutely beautiful, though I heard on the news that we got our first snowflakes the other night. Madness, I tell you.
Yesterday may have been the last day of real sunshine we’ll have for awhile.
There’s snow in the forecast today and tomorrow. Ugh.
Fun Weather Fact!
Plants release waste gasses during periods of low barometric pressure. So do swamps. Since high humidity means that smells are much more noticeable, an earthy, compost-y smell outside often means it’s getting ready to rain or storm.
