I really enjoyed this post over on Scoutie Girl called “The Hard-Ass Approach to Productivity”. It’s pretty much common sense, but it wasn’t until I started a business that I realized how true it is.
Maybe I’ll write about this in the future, but do you want to know what the most important thing I’ve learned about being an entrepreneur is?
At the end of the day, nothing- not your ideas, products, creativity, dreams, talent, nothing – matters more than how hard you work. Period. You can be the most talented, business-savvy, creative person with a genius business idea, but if you don’t work your ass off, it doesn’t matter.
Anyway, I enjoyed the post…. my favorite part?
Forget any new age, magical thinking ideas about daydreaming your way to fame and fortune; roll up your sleeves and get to work, dammit.
Go check it out! You won’t be sorry

So, so true! Hard work is everything. Of course, I find that it’s best balanced with reasonable amounts of relaxation, too!
That’s true also, Alli. I’m really glad to hear you’re back in the states (although, I’m super jealous of your double life and I live vicariously through your blog…)!
It’s a hard truth, isn’t it?
Yeah, one of the hardest! But fortunately, one of the simplest, right?
